Dae Hong Kim was born in 1974 and currently lives and works in Da Lat, Vietnam. He is a Korean artist whose work makes use of a wide range of media and materials, playfully avoiding categorization. A common element in all of his works is a sense of the surreal, sometimes accompanied by a rather dark sense of humor. They often exist in a border zone between joy and sadness. He creates small robots reminiscent of animals that move across the floor, resembling mischievous and partially finished beings.
